A modern marketing expert, this person will lead the charge in evolving Lincoln’s Marketing team to leverage data and technology to enable excellence in how we approach the market and decision making. Incorporating understandings of the current market in how we create products to engage clients today and tomorrow. The ultimate ambition: data and tech enabled, idea-led marketing that is customer-centric.
The Lincoln Group Marketing Manager has accountability for the Consumer and Product Marketing activities by leading the Voice of the Customer input into - Milestones, FPV development, Launch strategy and sales activities for Lifestyle/2-row vehicles within the Lincoln Showroom including Corsair, Nautilus and future vehicles. The Lincoln Group Marketing Manager will oversee all product related studies including offering strategies, contribution margin improvement actions, complexity reduction actions, product reviews as well as simplification and modernization strategies. This person will lead a team of approximately 4-6 brand and product marketing managers, including cross-vehicle responsibilities. The role allows for a holistic view of the entire vehicle line journey from development to launch and sustainment. She/he/they will be proven at working with multiple stakeholders and lead the charge with partners to drive work that delivers exceptional business results. The role will report Megan McKenzie, Head of US Marketing and Communications.
What you'll do...
Be a strong people leader, guiding a team through change and transformation, with an eye on talent development, capability building, and culture
• Lead Lincoln marketing strategy and executional functions including - GPDS milestones, market equation, program planning volumes, program research, concept research, customer research research, price strategy, launch strategy, launch plan, go-to-market, offering strategy, incentive/payment planning and sales sustainment to deliver Lincoln US priorities for 2-row vehicles (3-4 programs)
• Lead the overall brand strategies for products and product based experiences
• Launch (including strategy, objective and tactic development) all-new and refreshed 2-row Lincoln Products
• Steward increased efficiency and speed of decision making using in-market data and insights
• Deliver products and launch strategies that increase addressable and interested market including growth audiences
• Collaborate with Lincoln Family Group Marketing Manager (3-row vehicles) to maintain showroom cohesiveness
• Find opportunities to inject personalization and customization into the Lincoln products
• Lead identification of new, deeper insights from data and customer research to inform strategies and drive Lincoln plan
• Work closely with key partners including product development, design, finance, sales organization, comms, media, CX, Model e, Ford Blue, GDIA (Global Data, Insights and Analytics), Enterprise Digital and Global Marketing to deliver program targets and vehicle line profitability
• Identify ongoing life cycle efficiency opportunities for cost, offering strategy, incentive spend to ensure we are improving our business
• Co-Manage Brand Promo budget (in conjunction with partner Lincoln Group Marketing Manager) across Lincoln Marketing team and ensure key priorities are funded
