    The Senior Global CRM Tech Product Line Anchor ensures that the CRM product supports the company’s over-arching goal of “Always-On” customer relationship. This position will initially heavily focus on the CRM experience in the US/Canada & European Markets but will also be responsible for growing and expanding the capability across other global markets in Mexico, South America, and ASEAN regions. This Senior Global CRM Product Line Anchor will be responsible for driving the successful implementation and adoption of Salesforce platform software and other MarTech technology solutions used by Ford’s major markets around the world.

    What you'll do...

     

    + Ensures engineering excellence (e.g. better practices and quality) is achieved within Product Group.

    + Clearly communicate technology strategy and vision to team members and internal and external customers.

    + Innovate and operate with an iterative, agile and user-centric perspective.

    + Provide technical and solutions-oriented point of view and expertise for the development, structure, technology, and tools used within "Always-On" customer relationship management/Salesforce ecosystem.

    + Work with Enterprise Architecture to mature Salesforce Technical Architecture Standards & Reuse patterns that can be used by Global Retail CRM Product teams to implement solutions faster, integrate with Enterprise Systems and align to best practices.

    + Be a technical expert who has experience building platforms, underlying services for re-use, and DevOps capabilities.

    + Understands business priorities and technical feasibility in order to prioritize the backlog, identify dependencies, and handle risks.

    + Jump in and assist product teams to resolve technical blockers.

    + Focus on delivering product value through reusable services and technologies that other product teams can use.

    + Conduct product and technology experiments, user interviews and other validation techniques to gather feedback and product insights.

    + Lead Discovery / Define work for Intake Triage – the ability to bring clarity to complex business needs.

    + Initiates or translates the product roadmap into manageable product features in the backlog – to build an architectural runway.

    + Assess the technology feasibility of the product roadmap.

    + Work hands-on with the product teams to prioritize, plan, and deliver the platform foundations capabilities.

    + Guide Product Team Anchors and Solution Architects on architecture guardrails and future CRM Strategy.

    + Identifies areas within software delivery process and application ecosystem that require cohesion across the platform and addresses them through common engineering policies.

    + Employs and/or champions Agile software processes, culture, standard methodologies, and techniques.

    + Communicates openly and frequently with the team by being responsive to in-person prompts.

    + Actively works to identify and remove/ mitigate risks and blockers to product delivery.

    + Assesses the overall health of the product and prompts key decisions to move it forward.

    + Conduct self-assessments and support Audit reviews on security and deployment standards (i.e. Salesforce).

    + Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders for closure of any audit comments or operationally identified comments, pertaining to ecosystem.

    + Ensure local adherence to Global IT Security Compliance needs.

    + Ensure compliance with mandatory market specific legal requirements (e.g. local data protection or privacy legislation).

     

    You'll have...

     

    Minimum

     

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or an equivalent field. Master's degree in a related technical field is advantageous

    Experience:

    + 5+ years with progressive responsibilities in Software, Information/Data Engineering, Architecture and Agile Framework.

    + 3+ years’ experience as a senior solution architect working on Salesforce-related programs.

    Leadership Skills:

    + Must be able to think and act strategically, without constraints.

    + Must be able to act with courage and ability to think on your feet – work through ambiguity and problem solve.

    + Must be able to operationalize and assist teams with abstract technology concepts.

    + Strong demonstrated competencies on cloud and digital platforms.

    + Strong communication, collaborative, and influencing skills;

    + Proven ability to work closely with senior leadership.

    + Strong personal presence and capabilities to resolve technical concerns.

    Functional/Technical Skills

    + Experience with Salesforce cloud services and platforms.

    + Demonstrated ability to drive development of highly technical technology services and capabilities.

    + Experience with CICD pipelines.

    + Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization.

    + Experience with Lean methodology and Test-Driven Driven Development.

    + Demonstrated understanding and ability to drive API economy and solutions.

    + Demonstrated understanding and ability to drive highly available consumer-ready Internet properties and technical platforms.

    + Experience collaborating with engineers, designers, and product manager & owners.

    + Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience.

    + Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision-making in a rapidly changing environment.

    + Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach others.
