Description
The position will lead, design, develop, test, and implement high-quality, innovative software solutions for the company and become part of the eCommerce team working closely with business and product owners to define, plan and execute the company’s digital roadmap. Mentor and manage direct and indirect reports and serve as the cross-functional leader across the team. Specific duties include:
+ Lead and develop implementation of complex software and solutions according to business requirements.
+ Collaborate with developers to determine the optimal solution to ensure application efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
+ Contribute to the current and future state of the eCommerce platform.
+ Use industry standards and best practices to deliver quality solutions.
+ Mentor and provide guidance on technical issues to less experienced team members.
+ Ability to self-manage and complete projects and tasks on a timely basis, according to commitments made to stakeholders and management.
+ Work with product owners and architecture teams.
+ Provide innovative solutions to the leadership team.
Position allows for occasional telecommuting within reasonable distance of reporting office in Morton Grove, Illinois.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field) or foreign equivalent; and 8 years of relevant experience.
+ 8 years of experience in Agile software development methodology using DevOps, CI/CD, and Azure.
+ 8 years of designing and development experience using C#, ASP.Net, MVC, and SQL Server.
+ 4 years of experience API development and JS based web frameworks using Angular, React, and Vue.
+ 4 years of data engineering experience designing analytic databases using tools and procedures including Azure Data Factory, Azure Power Platform, ETL & ELT tools, and PowerBI.
+ 4 years of experience integrating ERP Systems using iSeries AS400 platform.
+ 2 years of eCommerce platforms and Product Information management experience.
+ 2 years of distributed systems experience that are built on microservices and event driven architecture.

+ Bunzl salary for this role is $153,317.00 per year.
