Job Summary and Qualifications

Coordinates and integrates services within their department and with other departments.*

Responsible for management of the clinical service’s daily operations. Will provide clinical services to patients as needed. *

Assists with establishing and enforcing department policies and procedures. Maintains knowledge base and educates staff on TJC and other accrediting organizations as appropriate.*

Responsible for program development including establishment, implementation and assessment of strategic plan.

Accountable for all phases of staff development including recruitment, orientation, retention, supervision, competency and professional growth. *

Develops and implements marketing plan to internal and external referral sources.

Establishes and monitors the clinical service’s budgetary needs. Reviews productivity plus at a frequency to allow timely staffing decisions. *

Is a mentor to staff on clinical issues and serves as a positive example to employees and patients.

What qualifications you will need:

EXPERIENCE

Required: 2 years total work experience in area of profession.

Appropriate degree and professional credentials including PT, OT, COTA, LPTA, SLP

Preferred: 1 year supervisory experience in healthcare

EDUCATION

Required - Graduation from accredited school of profession.

Possession of valid license or certification to practice in Virginia.

Preferred- Advanced education/training in management.
