Position Description
Holy Cross Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to oversee our Neuroscience Program. The Nurse Manager is responsible for patient navigation, coordinating patient care, the operating/capital budget, and other business operations throughout the Neuroscience Departments.
What You Will Do
+ Supports the development and coordination of patient care within Neuroscience services.
+ Assumes fiscal responsibility for Neuroscience and EEG budgets.
+ Actively identifies and assists in implementing strategies which optimize utilization in all areas of Neuroscience services.
+ Develops, reports, and presents dashboard models to VPMA and HCH leadership teams.
+ Manages and develops relationships with medical staff, interdepartmental staff, EEG staff, Neuroscience Advance Practice Providers (PAs, NPs, etc.) and operating room staff.
+ Performs duties of a highly confidential nature that requires a comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies, practices, and procedures.
+ Composes and prepares complex correspondence and reports, gathers and interprets information to develop complex reports, and provides exemplary customer service to internal and external customers.
+ Responsible for administration and clerical support.
+ Acts as liaison and resource person for the Neurosciences Services division with other Hospital departments, and non-hospital clients.
+ Ensures division runs smoothly and efficiently and monitors adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
+ Handles complex and/or sensitive administrative duties for the division.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration preferred
+ RN License in the state of Maryland required.
+ Experience in the neurology inpatient, EEG/EMG, or neurosurgery preferred. Demonstrated, successful previous experience in a supervisory/management position.
+ Candidate will be highly organized and adept at project management. Proficiency in budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, and value analysis is essential.

Pay rate:
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
