    What You'll Do

     

    + Build, maintain, and repair energized multiphase distribution systems

    + Work safely on energized poles, fixtures, and lines

    + Assist the Foreman with job coordination and switching orders

    + Perform field switching, grounding, and clearance orders following company and customer standards

    + Complete all required safety and technical training

    + Handle administrative and site documentation as needed

    + Serve as a leader on your crew — modeling safety and professionalism

    + Maintain all industry required qualifications

    + Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

     

    What You'll Have

     

    + High School DiplomaorGED

    + 4+ yearsof experience in theelectrical powerline industry

    + 3+ yearsas anApprentice Linemanor equivalent

    + Class A CDL with clean driving record

    + Full understanding ofline design,fuse coordination,switching,tagging, andgrounding

    + Ability to work independently and take ownership of the job from start to finish

    Work Environment

     

    + Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions

    + All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English

    + Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling

    + Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment

    + Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

     

    Legal Stuff
