    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA** ) is seeking a **Mid-Level or** **Experienced Project Management Specialist** **to join the Fabrication Business Operations team in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

     

    A successful candidate has strong project management skills, communicates clearly and concisely, follows-through, and builds strong, positive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels. This role will work closely with the production value stream stakeholders including but not limited to design engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, industrial engineering, supply chain, and estimating **.**

    Position Responsibilities** **:

    + Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

    + Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.

    + Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.

    + Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.

    + Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

    + Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

    + Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

     

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

     

    This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + 5+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools.

    + 5+ years of experience communicating (written and verbal) to leaders, employees, customers, peers, and all levels of leadership.

    + 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams and interfacing with key stakeholders.

    + 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Project.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + 7+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    + Bachelor's degree or higher

    + 5+ years of experience demonstrating leadership for driving issue resolution and mitigating technical risk

    + 5+ years of experience facilitating meetings & presenting to senior leadership

    Summary pay range for mid-level: $91,000 – 98,000

     

    Summary pay range for senior level: $114,000 – 122,000
