Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Functional / Automated Tester - NJ to join their dynamic team. As a Functional / Automated Tester - NJ, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting innovative software development projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Functional / Automated Tester

Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion

Pay Range:** **$40 - $46/hr on W2

What's the Job?

+ Perform functional testing to ensure software meets specified requirements and quality standards

+ Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium in Java to streamline testing processes

+ Conduct performance testing to evaluate system responsiveness and stability under load

+ Collaborate within Agile teams to integrate testing into continuous development cycles

+ Identify, document, and track defects, providing clear communication to development teams for resolution

What's Needed?

+ At least 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing

+ Proficiency in automation testing with Selenium in Java

+ Experience with performance testing methodologies and tools

+ Familiarity with Agile development practices and methodologies

+ Educational background, related experience, or military experience totaling 4+ years
