    Our client, is seeking a to join their team. As a **Maintenance** **Technicians** , you will be part of the Semiconductor Department.

    Overview:

    This is a hands-on, career-building opportunity with on-the-job training designed to develop key technical skills in a dynamic and essential industry.

     

    We are especially interested in — and highly encourage — **job seekers with an aptitude for learning, recent college graduates, and individuals with a military background** to apply.

     

    This role supports semiconductor manufacturing operations that produce the chips found in devices like smartphones, LEDs, and flat-screen TVs. Technicians ensure the safe operation and maintenance of chemical and gas distribution systems critical to these manufacturing processes.

    Your Role & Responsibilities:

    + Safely operate and maintain assigned **chemical and gas distribution systems** .

    + Perform **handling and change-outs** of gas, chemical, and slurry containers.

    + Conduct **equipment troubleshooting, preventive, and repair maintenance** .

    + Support **computer operations** to log data, report issues, and maintain system functionality.

    + Assist with **quality system compliance** and documentation.

    + Maintain a strong commitment to **safety, teamwork, and operational excellence** .

    Physical Requirements:

    + Walk up to **5–6 miles per day** .

    + Occasionally climb **tanker trucks (18-wheelers)** while using fall protection for chemical off-loading.

    + Use a **Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator** for up to 15 minutes as needed.

    + Lift up to **40 lbs** , bend, and reach overhead.

    + Wear required **PPE** including safety glasses, hard hat, earplugs, gloves, and chemical apron.

    + Wear **steel-toe safety boots** (voucher provided).

    + Pass a **Fit for Duty Evaluation** prior to start and annually (includes pulmonary test, audiogram, and physical exam).

    + Complete **Hazard Communication (“Right to Know”) training** prior to starting work.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + **High School Diploma or GED** equivalent.

    + **Valid driver’s license.**

    + **Fluent in English.**

    + Demonstrated commitment to **safety** ; certifications a plus.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Prior experience as a **Maintenance or Equipment Technician** in a mechanical, electronic, or industrial setting.

    + **Strong technical aptitude** and interest in learning new systems.

    + Experience with **chemical and gas distribution equipment** .

    + Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite** .

    + **Military background** strongly encouraged; leadership and safety experience highly valued.

    + Excellent **communication, teamwork, and reliability** .
