    Our client, a leader in electronics contract manufacturing, is seeking a Electronics Manufacturing Lead Technician to join their team. As a Electronics Manufacturing Lead Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing operations supporting production teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Electronics Manufacturing Lead Technician

    **Location:** Milpitas, CA

    **Pay Range:** $29.00-$31.50/hr

    **Shift:** Day Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Lead a skilled team by assigning duties, overseeing tasks, and ensuring productivity levels are met while maintaining a collaborative and positive work environment.

    + Collaborate closely with the Supervisor to establish daily priorities, production changes, and ensure alignment with project goals.

    + Perform hand soldering and touch-up rework for SMT and through-hole components, including ICs and jumper wires, adhering to IPC-A-610 Class 3 workmanship criteria and J-STD certification requirements.

    + Execute rework based on Engineering Change Orders (ECO), process deviations, and Multi-Process Instructions (MPI), utilizing appropriate solder and flux (leaded, lead-free, clean, or no-clean processes).

    + Install and hand solder all second-operation and SMT parts according to MPI and deviation processes, ensuring quality standards are maintained.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 6 years of practical experience in electronics contract manufacturing, with experience in medical devices or defense sectors preferred.

    + Must be a team player with a positive attitude and demonstrate effective collaboration skills.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

    + Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, BOM, and process instructions.

    + Experience working on products within medical or defense markets is highly desirable.
