Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
+ Assist the Supervisor in providing support and direction with daily operations.
+ Train team members on assembly operations and documentation (ie. Set-ups, day-by-the-hour, etc.).
+ Act as a Safety Advocate: Mentor employees on safe practices and help identify and correct safety risks with appropriate support personnel.
+ Serve as the Liaison between Machinist, Secondary Ops and Laborers to Engineering, Maintenance, Production Planning and other support personnel.
+ Serve as the Go-To Person for Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery Issues throughout the operation.
+ Assist in deploying lean and quality initiatives.
+ Assist Supervisors with employee reviews
+ Assist team members with problem solving issues to help decrease downtime.
+ Work closely with support personnel and serve as a representative to employees when needed.
+ Assist supervisor in other administrative tasks as required.
Education/Experience:
+ 90 days of employment with Parker Hannifin (this is preferred but not required)
+ 2 years of assembly/warehouse experience preferred
+ 2 years previous supervisory/leadership experience preferred
+ Willing to attend job related continuous education
+ Demonstrated leadership skills
+ Proficient computer skills
+ Able to effectively work with people in a team environment
+ Possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Physical Requirements:
+ Moderate physical effort consisting of:
+ Frequently lifting or moving material up to 35 pounds.
