    Your day-to-day / What we are expecting from you / Your responsibilities

    • Lead end to end recovery and performance improvement programs for the most critical suppliers and highest revenue impact. Conducting deep dives into constraints and guiding suppliers to resolve them.

    • Mentor and coach Supplier Recovery Specialists: provide on‑the‑job coaching, technical guidance on RCA/CAPA and stakeholder engagement.

    • Lead cross‑functional continuous improvement events with suppliers and internal teams to eliminate systemic root causes.

    • Will have responsibility for leading supplier recovery and risk mitigation efforts at supplier sites located anywhere in the country.

    • Will initiate vendor quality management, improvements including evaluating process capability, tracking delivery, output, and reporting of supplier performance.

    • Deploy Supplier Recovery, which may include any combination of assessments, training, quality improvements, delivery improvements, capacity improvement, lead-time reductions.

    Who we are looking for

    • Bachelors degree (BA) in Business Administration or related field (e.g. finance, law/contract law; program management).

    • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through ten or more years of increasingly responsible experience in contract administration or procurement including two or more years of high level project and customer/supplier management.

    • Certificate in Purchasing Management (CPM) or Contracts Management and prior international subcontracting experience desired.

    • Demonstrated experience leading complex supplier recoveries, CAPA programs and cross‑functional improvement projects.

    • Proven stakeholder management and executive communication skills — comfortable presenting to senior leaders.

    • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to supplier sites (up to 50%+ where required).

    Ideally, you will also have

    • Experienced in RCA methodologies (8D, 5 Why), process improvement tools and project management.

    • Ability to lead and influence without direct authority and to manage external supplier relationships. Advanced, specialized knowledge of material requirements planning methods, principles, industry practices, and policies. Knowledge of complex legal and regulatory requirements related to government procurement regulations, or similar commercial or FAA requirements.

    Competitive Compensation

     

    + Pay Range: $104400 to $174150 annually

    + Participation in Annual Incentive Program
