Our client, a leader in metal forming solutions is seeking a Inspector to join their team. As a Inspector, you will be part of the Manufacturing team supporting Engineering and Quality. The ideal candidate will have NDT Certification, ASQX certification and previous Inspection experience which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inspector III
Pay Range:$68-72/k + OT available
What’s the Job?
+ Perform inspections, as well as in-process and final inspections, of parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable Engineering criteria, documents, drawings, workmanship standards, and document nonconformance
+ Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine machine setup, type of material or part, quantity, and finish dimensions
+ Assemble and perform operations for established programs on the coordinate measuring machine (CMM), FARO Arm, and scanning equipment
+ Use a variety of common inspection tools (OD&ID micrometers, calipers, pi tapes, thread gages, point mics, profilometers) to verify sketch/print dimensions of components
+ Coordinate calibration activities and maintain records of various tools, instruments and gauges used for Product Acceptance or Verification/Validation.
What’s Needed?
+ Non Destructive Testing Certification
+ ASQC Certification
+ Weld Inspection experience preferred
+ Proficient at reading and understanding blueprint requirements, and ability to interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
