    Our client, a leading organization in facility management, is seeking a Sr. Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Sr. Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Sr. Building Maintenance Technician

    **Location:** Kansas City, Missouri (plus some travel to multiple different sites)

    **Pay Range:** $26-36/hr.

    **Job Type:** 12-month contract with the potential to convert/FTE

    **Schedule:** Onsite M-F 8am-5pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Lead safety and functionality initiatives for our facilities, ensuring a secure environment for all occupants.

    + Perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repairs across various building systems at multiple different sites.

    + Conduct regular inspections and respond promptly to maintenance requests for repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.

    + Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prolong the lifespan of building systems and equipment.

    + Operate computerized Energy Management systems and generate reports on maintenance activities and equipment status.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience.

    + Proven experience in building maintenance, construction, or related fields.

    + Excellent knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.

    + Ability to effectively use hand and power tools.

    + Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills, along with excellent communication abilities.
