Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities of the Logistics Administrator may include but are not limited to:

Provide quality, professional service to customers, carriers and teammates Communicate with teammates and carriers to direct truck dispatching using CarrierPoint/Princeton Involvement with billing and processing shipments of rail and transload activities Assists in developing, strategizing, and negotiating freight rates Ensure visitors and contractors sign-in using the computer system, directing visitors/deliveries to destination Provide daily reports for Shipping Department and Sales Team Filling in at the trucks scales as needed (which may include shift/overnight) Process load requests, create and share reports, and other duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

1+ year experience in an administrative role 1+ year experience using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) in a business setting 1+ year experience with flatbed truck market, freight costs, and basic freight calculations

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management Experience with CarrierPoint, Princeton, DAT, or Sky Blue Logistics
