Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

+ Taking care of our customers by executing the division's safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives

+ Managing the functionality, availability, and performance of the purchased and custom developed applications that service the business

+ Performing project/task management for application development changes

+ Responsible for design and development of changes or additions to applications

+ Take a lead role in problem solving application problems, programming, and a support role in infrastructure problems.

This role will be an onsite position at Nucor Steel Arkansas.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering plus 4-6 experience in software engineering or

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineeringplus 5-8 years experiencein software engineeringor

+ 10+ years of relevant experiencein software engineering

+ 5+ years of .NET experience

+ 5+ years of SQL and relational database experience

+ Experience configuring web servers

+ Experience with Azure or related cloud infrastructure services

+ Experience working in an Agile process

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with .NET Blazor

+ Experience with administering Microsoft Azure resources

+ Experience with IIS and Windows Servers

+ Experience in the steel industry

+ Experience with ETL and large databases
