As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Government** in **Maury, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible and reassuring presence. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential risks or suspicious activities.

+ Monitor and control access points as required by site-specific protocols, verifying identification and/or credentials as needed.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and/or activities as instructed by Allied Universal and site management.

+ Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required by site procedures or in urgent situations.

+ Remain alert and observant to help to deter unauthorized activities and provide a visible presence at the assigned government location.

+ Follow all procedures for the handling and carrying of firearms as outlined by Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
