Description
We're seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to empower our content sales team with data-driven insights and automated analytics solutions. The ideal candidate combines expertise in data integration and visualization with strong business acumen, enabling them to transform complex sales and market data into actionable strategies. This role requires the ability to build self-service tools, partner across functions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and will work with analytical methods to uncover and interpret data, with the goal of boosting revenue and enhancing sales approaches.
Key job responsibilities
* Create centralized data infrastructure by consolidating multiple data sources and maintaining quality standards, enabling comprehensive content performance analysis across customers, markets, and business lines
* Develop automated dashboards and self-service reporting solutions that track critical KPIs and empower teams to independently access, analyze, and act on their performance data
* Conduct data-driven analysis of sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior to identify revenue opportunities and optimize sales strategies
* Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to help shape the analytics strategy using the latest advancements in analytic techniques relevant to sales and revenue generation.
* Communicate complex findings through clear visualizations and executive presentations that drive data-informed decisions and align teams around key business objectives
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- 4+ years of communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience experience
- Knowledge of writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience including, building and maintaining data flows and pipelines
- Experience designing and maintaining centralized databases and developing automated reporting systems using business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Knowledge of data analysis languages (e.g., R, Stata, Python, etc.) or other statistical software
- 5+ years of data analysis work and leveraging analytics to make decisions experience
- Experience statistical modeling, or related analytic techniques
- Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming service or studio

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $158,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
