As a **Security Officer – Retail Mall Patrol Full-Time** in **Austin, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter potential security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and excellent customer service skills will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment. You will interact with guests, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior or situations in and around the premises.

+ Support access control measures and maintain an orderly environment for employees and visitors.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and daily activities.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as outlined in site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
