As a **Security Officer - Distribution Access Entry** in **Whitestown, IN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a secure environment for personnel and assets. Your visible presence and routine patrols help maintain order, while exceptional customer service and strong communication skills are key to your daily interactions. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for any irregularities and/or security-related issues.

+ Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and observations according to site protocols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.

+ Assist with enforcing site-specific policies and regulations relevant to access control and movement within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
