As a **Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver** in **Port Arthur, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, engage with customers and associates, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergencies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter loss prevention issues and report any security-related concerns.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist customers and employees and address security-related matters as needed.

+ Document and report any incidents, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols or while on post.

+ Work collaboratively with retail staff and management to support a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A Guard Card or guard license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
