What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding appropriately to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking into consideration the unique environment of a commercial real estate location.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the property, both inside the building and around the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

+ Monitor entry and exit points and verify the credentials of individuals on the premises as required by site policy.

+ Document all incidents, observations, and activities accurately and clearly in daily reports and logs.

+ Work collaboratively with property management and other personnel to address security-related concerns and provide information as needed.

+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

+ An Armed Guard Card or License is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ Baton certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
