As a **Security Professional - Healthcare Facility Patrol** in **Los Angeles, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Document observations and incidents accurately and thoroughly according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, patients, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

+ Monitor for suspicious behavior and report concerns promptly to the appropriate contacts.

+ Support access control measures by verifying credentials and helping to maintain an orderly environment within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least six months of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
