Contract Cardiac Sonographer – 26 Weeks | $56–$90/hr DOE
**Location:** Onsite in Palo Alto, CA
**Schedule:** Full-time, Contract (26 weeks)
**Pay Rate:** $56 – $90 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Ready to put your ultrasound skills to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment? We’re looking for a **Cardiac Sonographer** to join our team on a **26-week contract** — someone who’s precise, professional, and passionate about making a difference through high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care.
In this role, you’ll perform a variety of **cardiac and general ultrasound procedures** under the direction of department leadership and physicians. Your work will directly support patient diagnoses, helping the clinical team make informed care decisions.
What You’ll Do
+ Perform high-quality ultrasound and Doppler procedures (including stress and rest echocardiograms).
+ Operate and maintain diagnostic ultrasound equipment, ensuring it’s always ready for immediate use.
+ Document observations, capture diagnostic images, and present completed sonograms for physician interpretation.
+ Explain procedures and provide patient support before, during, and after exams.
+ Review patient histories, compare prior exams, and maintain accurate documentation in PACS and other systems.
+ Follow infection prevention standards and proper probe handling procedures.
+ Participate in research or new equipment evaluations as needed.
What You Bring
+ **Active ARDMS certification** (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer).
+ Proven experience as a **Cardiac Sonographer** , including **Stress and Rest Echo** procedures.
+ Strong knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and pathology as they relate to diagnostic imaging.
+ Excellent judgment, communication, and patient interaction skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-moving healthcare environment.
+ Technical proficiency with **PACS** and other imaging systems.

**Pay Details:** $56.00 to $90.00 per hour
