Adecco is hiring immediately for a MES Application Engineer with a local client in Austin, TX. Pay is $75.00/hr - $90.00/hr.
Duties:
• Looking for an application engineer to support product development, customer deployment, and services for automation products and solutions in the areas of manufacturing execution, factory performance, equipment performance, and advanced process control.
• Candidate will drive continuous improvement, help improve knowledge base management, and seek opportunities to build organizational efficiencies using technology, AI, machine learning, automation, and optimization.
• Implement Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solution, integrated with other key factory and business systems, for our customers
• Work with product development team to develop new solutions and products with to address market demands
• Coordinate with customers systems administration and IT teams on deploying, configuring, developing and deploying EA solutions.
• Present technical information to customers including technical contributors and managers.
• Project management tasks in accordance with standard PM lifecycle.
• Perform software installations at customer locations.
• Knowledge base contribution/management.
• Respond to customer requests for proposal (RFP) and requirements collection.
• Develop and deliver statements of work (SOW) and cost estimates for projects.
• Improve operations through continuous improvement standards such as: 8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5-Whys.
Qualifications
• Mandatory Skills: Visual Studio, C#, .Net, Oracle, Project Management Skills (Added Advantage)
• Experience 5 - 10 years
• 100% remote
• BS or MS degree in engineering field
• Experience in factory operations
• Experience working in semiconductor or Solar or Display or PCB manufacturing as MES Application Engineer
• Experience with factory automation applications with specific knowledge in MES integration and deployment
• Experience working with other factory automation and business systems such Recipe Management (RMS), Advanced Process Control (APC) and Advanced Productivity Family (APF)
• Project management skills with ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Working proficiency using visual studio, C#, .Net, databases and use of SQL
• Experience explaining technical and business concepts to Sr. management and managing diverse requirements among multiple stakeholders.
• Software expertise - familiarity working with enterprise automation software running on Windows or Unix platforms with Oracle database
• Travel: 25%

**Pay Details:** $70.00 to $90.00 per hour
