Material Handler / Forklift Operator
**Pay Rate:** $15.75/hour | **Shift:** 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Olsten Staffing is currently seeking a **Material Handler / Forklift Operator** in the Florence area. We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals to support warehouse operations and ensure smooth, efficient material handling.
Position Overview:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts (Reach Truck, Sit-Down, and VNA) and the movement of materials within the warehouse. Duties include loading and unloading trailers, transferring inventory, and supporting overall warehouse operations as directed by supervisors.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Move materials between ATD racks, AD Shuttles (trailers), High-Density Warehouse racks, and ESAB racks.
+ Operate Reach Trucks, Sit-Down Forklifts, and VNA Forklifts (training provided as needed).
+ Load and unload trailers, including AD Shuttles, in coordination with warehouse and production operations.
+ Complete inventory transactions accurately using the DSI scanner.
+ Perform other material handling tasks as requested by supervisors or managers.
+ Follow movement plans and operational instructions from leadership.
Critical Skills & Requirements:
+ Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
+ Familiarity with computer applications and product documentation.
+ Effective communication and teamwork skills to support quality and efficiency.
+ Ability to learn and train others on product configurations, stations, and processes.
+ Knowledge of proper material handling, storage, and inventory tracking systems.
+ Working knowledge of PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) operation and warehouse safety protocols.
+ Familiarity with DSI or similar inventory management systems.
+ Understanding of warehouse processes, including inventory transfers and storage procedures.
+ Awareness of public safety and security policies to protect personnel, property, and assets.
+ Ability to operate equipment efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment.

**Pay Details:** $15.75 per hour
