    Civil Project Manager

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Civil Project Manager to lead and oversee DOT infrastructure projects for MoDOT and IDOT. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in managing complex roadway, bridge, and transportation improvement projects from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, safety standards, and budgetary constraints.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage multiple DOT projects across Missouri and Illinois, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

    + Coordinate with MoDOT and IDOT representatives, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

    + Ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements, including environmental, safety, and ADA standards.

    + Oversee construction activities, site inspections, and quality control.

    + Prepare and review project documentation including RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.

    + Monitor project timelines and proactively address delays or issues.

    + Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

    + Ensure compliance with DOT specifications, standards, and procedures.

    Qualifications & Skills

    + Expertise in civil construction and project management.

    + Experience with roadway resurfacing, bridge maintenance, and traffic signal upgrades.

    + Knowledge of federal funding and reporting requirements.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Familiarity with land development, stormwater management, and construction processes.

    + Preferred: Experience with HeavyJob software.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
