Job Title: Senior Clinical Database Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Database Programmer with experience in electronic data capture database programming to optimize the use of technology for successful clinical trials. This role involves collaboration with lead data managers and study team members to understand clinical protocol requirements, applying industry and best practices.

Responsibilities

+ Work and consult with lead data managers and study team members to review and understand clinical protocol requirements and project specifications.

+ Drive database development activities according to the implementation project plan.

+ Configure forms, rules, and other study items during development.

+ Conduct user acceptance testing with study teams, coordinating feedback and resolving issues.

+ Support requirements gathering and specification creation for study integrations and go-live activities.

+ Act as a trusted advisor to study teams, ensuring study trial designs meet team goals and leverage full benefits of the software application.

+ Communicate potential risks and contingency plans to ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience with clinical software solutions in end-to-end data management activities.

+ 5+ years of experience in the life sciences industry and clinical trial processes.

+ Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

+ 5 years of programming experience.

+ Expertise in database design, data collection, data analysis, query resolution, and datasets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Veeva software.

+ Oncology programming experience.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position operating on West Coast hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of South San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $100.00/hr.
