Electrical Superintendent

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee quality inspections and ensure compliance on large-scale electrical construction projects. This role is critical in maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards throughout the installation process. You will be responsible for verifying electrical systems, identifying deficiencies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform inspections on materials, equipment, and electrical installation activities.
+ Issue Quality Records and Non-Conformance Reports as needed.
+ Verify cable laying, cable identification, and perform loop checks.
+ Inspect systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or required adjustments.
+ Ensure compliance with governing electrical codes and job specifications.
+ Confirm proper installation of cable trays, conduit runs, instruments, and cable glands.
+ Document and communicate electrical deficiencies to supervisors and assigned teams.
+ Assist in developing training content to educate the workforce on best practices.
+ Drive process improvement initiatives and identify cost-saving measures.
+ Stay current on electrical codes and manufacturing practices.
+ Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using tools such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
+ Troubleshoot electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits.
Essential Skills
+ Strong background in electrical construction and quality assurance.
+ Knowledge of construction management and project management principles.
+ Experience with solar projects preferred.
+ Proficiency in electrical inspection and troubleshooting.
Additional Qualifications
+ Ability to identify hazards and verify proper installation of electrical systems.
+ Skilled in using electrical testing devices and interpreting results.
+ Strong documentation and communication skills.
+ Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
Work Environment
+ On-site at a greenfield Solar Farm with a capacity of 110 MW.
+ Project will be executed in four sections and is expected to take approximately one year.
+ Requires flexibility to move between project sites as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
