Job Description: Sr. Quality Engineering Technician
The Sr. Quality Engineering Technician will lead and support quality technicians by utilizing quality procedures and practices to validate manufactured and supplied parts. This role involves collaboration with suppliers to enhance the quality of purchased parts and provide guidance to repair and production departments. The technician will program and operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) using the MCOSMOS software on the Mitutoyo system. This position is hands-on and includes inspecting parts. There is also an opportunity to engage in control plans, capability studies, and new product development.
Responsibilities
+ Provide leadership and support to quality technicians.
+ Validate manufactured and supplied parts using quality procedures and practices.
+ Collaborate with suppliers to improve the quality of purchased parts.
+ Guide repair and production departments in quality practices.
+ Program and operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) with MCOSMOS software.
+ Conduct hands-on inspection of parts.
+ Participate in control plans, capability studies, and new product development.
Essential Skills
+ 4 years of experience operating test equipment (oscilloscope, Hi-pot, Vectorscope).
+ 4 years of quality technician experience.
+ 1 year of experience working within a specified environment.
+ Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for 1 year.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with CMM and quality inspection.
+ Familiarity with schematic interpretation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
