    Job Description

    This position requires flexibility to float between Ames clinic locations, Story City, and Nevada Family Practice. The role involves performing various lab tests classified under CLIA-88, drawing blood, interpreting microscope results, and collecting specimens.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform lab tests classified under CLIA-88.

    + Draw blood samples accurately and efficiently.

    + Interpret microscope findings to assist in diagnosis.

    + Collect specimens following proper protocols.

    + Ensure all lab procedures comply with safety and quality standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in medical laboratory procedures and clinical testing.

    + Proficiency in lab testing and specimen collection.

    + MLT certification or CMA with lab experience.

    + Associate degree in medical laboratory technology or completion of a recognized course in Clinical Laboratory Technology.

    + Certification or eligibility for certification as MLT (ASCP) or equivalent.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + One year of lab experience preferred.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
