    Overview

    **Position:** Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist (Part-Time)

    **Location:** 6264 Lewis St, Ste 100, Parkville, MO 64152

    **Schedule:** Thursdays plus 1-2 other days during the week. 8am-5pm.

    **Compensation:** Depends on experience

    **Select Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled PART-TIME Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist) to join our outpatient orthopedic team!** We are looking for a passionate clinician with experience in hand therapy to provide exceptional care to our patients. While a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is preferred, it is not required—candidates with solid hand therapy experience are encouraged to apply.

    Responsibilities

    + **Collaboration:** Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.

    + **High Standard of Care:** Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB,clinician expertise, patient perception).

    + **Personalized Treatment:** Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.

    + **Relationship-Building:** Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy

    + CPR certification

    + Valid driver’s license

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic

    + Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
