    Become part of our team as a Senior Structural Engineer in Boston, MA who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects; including the structural design for new structures as well as upgrades for existing structures. Under the guidance of more senior technical staff, you’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule for assigned tasks. You’ll effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly.

     

    With your solid understanding of all phases of construction document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications, you will prepare technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction and will be our Structural discipline lead in project meetings. You’ll participate in project proposals and will suggest solutions to our clients to problems they didn’t even know they had.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis

    • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (or Civil Engineering with a Structural Emphasis), preferred

    • Progressive experience in designing building structures

    • Professional Engineer, (P.E.) license

    • Experience working in a multi-discipline project team

    • Construction support services for building projects

    Ideally, you’ll also have:

    • Experience with healthcare /institutional /commercial /industrial /manufacturing/transportation buildings

    • Experience with Bluebeam, Revit and NavisWorks

    • Experience with leading industry Structural design and analysis software (RAM, STAAD, SAP2000, eTabs, etc.)
