    What you will be doing:

    + Operating a Railcar mover -we provide training and certification

    + Using a Railcar mover to sort cars on the tracks to prepare for unloading activities

    + Visually inspecting rail cars and performing air brake inspections

    + Connecting steam lines to rail cars and monitoring temperature

    + Unloading feedstock from rail cars using pumps and control systems

    + Cross training and being willing to assist in the different functions performed at the facility

    + Participating in and promoting Savage safety program

    Requirements of a successful Equipment Operator:

    + Perform basic maintenance tasks

    + Basic computer skills

    + Attend and pass all training associated with job related coursework. This includes but is not limited to: OSHA, HazMat and FRA related courses

    + Willingness to wear required PPE

    + Clear drug / alcohol test / criminal background check

    + Rail Industry and/or rail unloading/loading experience is a plus

    + Work experience in an industrial environment

    + Valid driver’s license

    + Read, write and understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English

    • Here are some of the physical requirements of this role:

    + Work outdoors in all weather conditions

    + Comfortable with heights up to 30 feet

    + Must be able to lift 50lbs independently
