Description

We are looking for a talented Associate Attorney to join a collegial team in the East Bay. The ideal candidate will bring 1+ years of experience in insurance litigation and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in legal practice. This role provides the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote flexibility with in-person responsibilities as needed to meet client and case demands.

Responsibilities:

• Manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, including drafting motions and handling discovery requests.

• Conduct depositions and represent clients effectively in court proceedings.

• Perform thorough legal research and prepare high-quality written materials.

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and solutions.

• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and apply them effectively to cases.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in insurance litigation.

• Participate in activities requiring travel, as needed, for case-related matters.

• Build and maintain strong, attentive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Utilize strong presentation skills to deliver compelling arguments and case updates.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in California.

• 1+ years of experience in insurance litigation, including civil litigation.

• Proven ability to draft motions and handle discovery processes.

• Demonstrated skill in conducting depositions and court appearances.

• Strong academic background and exceptional writing abilities.

• Effective legal research capabilities and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines
