    Description

    Position Overview:

    Our team is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist in Minnetonka, MN. This role is responsible for accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with JD Edwards software is preferred, but not required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Review, verify, and process invoices for payment, maintaining high accuracy

    + Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts

    + Prioritize and execute payments according to company policies and vendor terms

    + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

    + Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments

    + Assist with accounting month-end close related to payables

    + Maintain thorough and organized documentation and files

    + Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues

    + Support audits and provide required documentation

    Requirements

    + Proven accounts payable or related accounting experience

    + Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite

    + Experience with JD Edwards ERP is strongly preferred, but not required

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills

    + High attention to detail and accuracy

    + Effective oral and written communication skills

    + Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
