Description

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial data processing, analysis, and reporting to support effective business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, work well in a team environment, and demonstrate a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

+ Monitor and analyze costs to provide insights for financial planning and management.

+ Develop and maintain systems to support budget adherence and cost control.

+ Communicate financial impacts of contracts to various stakeholders.

+ Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

+ Perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and time entry functions accurately.

+ Compile and submit necessary documentation for invoicing processes.

+ Generate and submit invoices and billing statements in accordance with contractual agreements.

+ Reconcile billing and other financial submissions to ensure data accuracy.

+ Oversee month-end activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

+ Collaborate with internal teams to utilize financial data for business improvement.

Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.

• Experience in commercial construction, telecom, or related industries is preferred.

• Proficiency in JD Edwards or comparable enterprise resource planning systems is advantageous.

• Solid understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial data.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey financial insights.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
