Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Accounting Clerk to join our client's team on a contract basis in Northern Kentucky. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential accounting tasks, including invoice processing and data entry, in a dynamic work environment. The role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time hours, with a schedule of 2-3 days per week for an estimated duration of six weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Process and record invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Manage check runs and ensure timely payments.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online for accounting transactions and reporting.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

• Assist with reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support various accounting functions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.

• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
