Job Description

Supervises and coordinates the staff and activities of monitor technicians. Ensures adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

+ Promotes Monitor Technician department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members.

+ Leads the activities of assigned Monitor Technician team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives.

+ Prioritizes, schedules, assigns, and monitors work to optimize operational service.

+ Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of staff.

+ Analyzes, recommends, implements, and monitors approved work-flow changes.

+ Participates in developing and delivering training related to operations.

+ Ensures staff adheres to infection control protocols, hospital, and department policies and procedures.

+ Maintains appropriate usage and par levels of stock and equipment.

+ Orders supplies and maintains inventory in a cost effective manner.

+ Ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.

+ Troubleshoots mechanical issues, and performs minor repairs.

Job Qualification

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.

+ 4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $64,350-$86,060/year
