Property Manager (Affordable Housing)
Pay: $24/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch; some flexibility)
About the Role
We are seeking a Property Manager (or experienced Assistant Property Manager ready to step up) to oversee the day-to-day operations of a small affordable housing community (Project-Based Section 8, 50059). This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about providing safe, ethical housing and looking to grow their career in property management.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage leasing activities: marketing, showing units, processing applications, move-in/move-out procedures
+ Ensure compliance with HUD regulations and Section 8 requirements
+ Maintain accurate resident files and documentation
+ Collect rent, post payments, and manage delinquency
+ Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up on work orders
+ Schedule seasonal services (snow removal, landscaping)
+ Conduct property inspections and maintain curb appeal
+ Order supplies and pick up parts as needed (vehicle required)
+ Utilize property management systems and Microsoft Office tools
Qualifications
+ 1+ years of leasing or property management experience
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
+ Reliable transportation for errands and parts pickup
Nice to Have:
+ HUD/Section 8 experience
+ Assistant Community Manager background
+ Customer service skills
Work Environment: On-site, quiet office setting with independent responsibilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Prague, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
