One of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the country is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Division FP&A HQ team. This role will provide financial planning and analysis support for the business, including building and managing financial reports, preparing analyses for business reviews, and handling ad hoc requests. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and experience in financial modeling within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare financial analysis and reports, including Plans, Latest Best Estimates (LBEs), and Long-Range Projections (LRPs) for P&L and balance sheet metrics.

+ Ensure data integrity and compliance with GAAP and company operating policies.

+ Maintain an efficient planning process, including coordination of calendars, key dates, and deliverables.

+ Develop tools, templates, and system solutions to support financial consolidation and reporting requirements.

+ Support Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) by managing monthly financial performance metrics (sales, expense variances, CCC, IBP).

+ Provide financial support to Global Marketing, including annual budgeting and forecasting.

+ Complete month-end close activities: revenue tie-outs, journal entries, expense summaries, and project spend analysis.

+ Prepare and analyze daily and weekly sales reporting and projections.

+ Maintain finance scorecards and deliverables across APOC finance organizations.

+ Perform ad hoc financial modeling, data mining, and presentation support for senior management.

Qualifications

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

+ Experience: Minimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and Fortune 500 company exposure.

+ Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency (required).

+ Strong financial planning and analysis skills.

+ Financial modeling and data mining expertise.

+ Knowledge of GAAP.

+ Preferred Experience: Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) support.

+ Familiarity with Integrated Business Planning (IBP).

+ Global marketing finance support.

This is a Contract position based out of Princeton, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
