Job Title: Warehousing and Distribution Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Warehousing and Distribution Manager to lead operations across a multi-site distribution and production network. This is a high-impact role where you will drive improvements in inventory accuracy, throughput, and capacity utilization while shaping the culture of warehousing functions. You will report directly to the Head of Planning and Logistics, Outdoor, and play a key role in connecting operations, finance, and logistics.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee shipping, receiving, and warehousing activities across multiple sites.

+ Partner with Operations to optimize material and product flow.

+ Lead inventory accuracy initiatives through cycle and physical counts.

+ Collaborate with Finance and Logistics on budget and capital planning.

+ Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

+ Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and CI methodologies.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in operations management and supply chain management.

+ Proficiency in ocean freight, LTL shipping, rail, import, export, and third-party logistics.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business — or 10+ years of relevant experience.

+ Experience across multi-modal shipping (parcel, ocean, air, rail, LTL, truckload).

+ Strong background in 3PL management and distribution technologies (WMS, OMS, TMS).

+ Knowledge of import/export compliance, including CTPAT requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.

+ Ability to travel up to 25% and maintain U.S. work eligibility.

+ Continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma expertise.

Work Environment

The role offers a chance to shape the future of warehousing operations at a global leader, with exposure to cutting-edge distribution technologies and continuous improvement practices. The position involves travel up to 25% of the time, primarily between various locations including Sarasota, Bradenton, Miami, and Texas. This is an opportunity to standardize processes across multiple sites, creating consistency and efficiency in a complex network. Collaboration with the Purchasing Manager, Director of Operations and Finance, and a Director of Ops and Planning in Texas is expected. This is not a turnkey operation; you will be expected to build and create processes and synergies.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sarasota, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
