    Skilled Trades - Administrative Assistant

    Job Title:

    Administrative Assistant – Skilled Trades Support

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM (4 days/week to start, transitioning to 5 days/week)

    About the Role:

    We’re looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our small, tight-knit office team. This role is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly across skilled trades like construction, pest control, plumbing, and electrical services.

     

    If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy juggling multiple responsibilities, and have experience with CRM systems (especially Jobber), we’d love to hear from you!

    What You’ll Do:

    + Be the first point of contact for customers—answering calls, emails, and handling inquiries with professionalism and care.

    + Schedule appointments, dispatch jobs, and keep technicians informed and on track.

    + Maintain accurate client records and job details in Jobber.

    + Assist with quotes, invoices, data entry, and permit paperwork.

    + Coordinate with the warehouse and field teams to manage inventory and job readiness.

    + Help with warehouse tasks (loading/unloading, inventory updates) for 60–90 minutes daily.

    + Monitor project timelines and communicate updates to clients and staff.

    What You Bring:

    + Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.

    + Hands-on experience with CRM systems—Jobber preferred.

    + Strong communication and multitasking skills.

    + Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook.

    + Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.

    + Familiarity with service-based industries and insurance/client onboarding is a plus.

    + Willingness to learn and grow with the company.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bohemia, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.

     

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
