Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Serve as an internal and external point of contact for administrative and data entry support for the Applications Team. This role involves utilizing the LIS system for data entry and managing client information, along with high-volume data entry and organizational tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as the primary contact for administrative and data entry support for the Applications Team.
+ Utilize the LIS system for data entry and client information management.
+ Perform high-volume data entry and organizational tasks.
+ Provide customer service to support new client and portal registrations, ensuring all updates are complete.
+ Follow up with doctors' offices and maintain and clean up data as needed.
+ Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
+ Respond to all inquiries courteously and helpfully.
+ Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office.
+ Experience with LIS system or similar software.
+ 3 years of high-volume data entry/administrative assistant experience in a corporate office environment.
+ Strong customer service skills, particularly in managing new client and portal registrations.
+ Ability to type at a minimum speed of 50 words per minute.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Self-starter, motivated, and takes initiative.
+ Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
+ Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
+ Experience in the medical industry preferred.
Work Environment
Located in Montgomery County, the position requires local candidates. The role is within an office environment on the 4th floor, separate from the lab area. Work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM with a 30-minute break. The company fosters a casual and friendly environment, emphasizing employee care and development. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
