Job Summary:

_Note: This role is in office._

As a member of the Software Quality Assurance team, you will contribute to evaluating and improving the quality of software products, including those integrated with firmware components. You will collaborate with the software quality team to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, ensuring that software meets functional and performance requirements. Your role will involve identifying defects, documenting issues, and working closely with development teams to support continuous improvement in product quality.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Follow established ISO procedures for carrying out tasks

+ Create and execute detailed test cases for new and existing application features

+ Perform manual regression, integration, and system level tests

+ Organize and document test releases

+ Document manual testing on all products based upon high level test plans

+ Work in conjunction with developers to meet software goals

+ Participate in specification, design, and code reviews as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Aptitude to learn or experience using test automation tools and or frameworks

+ Familiarity with version control software

+ Experience with project management or test management software (Azure Devops, Jira, TestRail, Qase)

+ Knowledge or experience working in agile or scrum development environments

Required Skill and Qualifications:

+ Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or relevant experience (minimum of three years) in software development or testing

+ Strong verbal and written communications skills

+ Ability to write clear and complete process documentation and test plans

+ Excellent interpersonal skills are required. This position must work effectively with product development team members, SQA team members, and project managers

Compensation Information:

This position has a starting salary range of $80,000 to $93,000 per year. Pay is determined by several factors, including a candidate’s experience, relevant skills, and qualifications
