POSITION OVERVIEW

As a student, you will support the Interior, North & Island Financing teams with a variety of tasks, including:

+ Performing administrative duties such as collecting financial statements, preparing documents, and assisting with client requests.

+ Assisting account managers with loan origination activities, including Know Your Client (KYC) procedures.

+ Supporting prospecting efforts and business development initiatives.

+ Contributing to marketing activities by helping organize events, campaigns, and communications, and providing on-site logistical support.

+ Providing on-site premise support.

+ You will be required to work in office.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

+ A self-starter who can work independently and take initiative.

+ Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

+ A foundational understanding of financial products and concepts—including interest rates, mortgages, commercial lending, financial statements, and financial statement analysis—is considered an asset.

+ You must have completed at least one year in a post-secondary program and be currently enrolled in a relevant field of study, such as economics, business, or finance.
