Job Description

We’re seeking a DC Power Technician to join a fast-growing team supporting critical wireless and wireline infrastructure. This role involves hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low-voltage systems, DC power plants, and battery systems. What You’ll Do

+ Perform installation and removal of fiber and cables

+ Complete fiber/cable pre-termination and termination

+ Install and maintain DC power systems, including battery racks, auxiliary framing, interconnects, and grounding

+ Execute lacing and stitching of low-voltage cabling

+ Operate tools for cabling and lugging such as hydraulic crimping tools, cable cutters, heat guns

+ Support raceway installation and structured cabling tasks

+ Travel extensively to project sites (starting in Anderson, SC), working in commercial building environments

What You Bring

+ Experience with low-voltage cabling, including lacing and terminating

+ Knowledge of DC power systems and battery maintenance

+ Familiarity with 48-volt power systems

+ Ability to perform diversified installation tasks: anchoring, leveling, drilling, securing racks and cables

+ Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Nice to Have

+ Experience with fiber optic cable installation and splicing

+ Knowledge of routers, switches, and structured cabling

+ Familiarity with punchdown, coax, and copper power termination

+ Previous work in Central Office, Headend, or wireless environments

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Anderson, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
