TEKsystems is partnering with a client in Denver, CO looking for a Electrical Design Engineer.

What you will do:

+ Design electrical systems for data centers.

+ Work with other teams to create construction documents.

+ Make sure designs meet quality and budget requirements.

+ Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

+ Review and approve equipment details.

+ Define project scope and answer technical questions during construction.

+ Test and validate electrical systems with commissioning teams.

+ Handle multiple projects in different regions.

+ Travel to sites for reviews, audits, and system startups.

+ Find creative solutions to improve designs and reduce costs.

Basic requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 12+ years of experience.

+ 7+ years in industrial or commercial electrical design.

+ 9+ years creating design plans and documents.

Preferred skills:

+ Professional Engineering license.

+ Knowledge of building codes (IBC, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).

+ Ability to research new technologies and methods.

+ Strong problem-solving skills.

+ Experience with power systems like UPS, generators, and switchgear.

+ Worked in fast-track projects and large-scale operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
