This candidate will be working to build and maintain positive relationships with our external acceptance partners such as Acquirers Merchants Processors Payment Gateways Integrated Payment Providers Payment Facilitators and Point of Sale software developers to ensure payment acceptance compliance for our brand is fully integrated and supported within the Payments ecosystem. This candidate will function as a trusted advisor regarding operational challenges impacting Discover acceptance by working with partners as well as internal business stakeholders on the identification investigation and resolution of acceptance issues as well as working to quickly address and resolve partner concerns/challenges. Additionally this candidate will work to ensure that our program documentation and technical specification requirements are fully understood and followed to increase and maintain Discover acceptance and help our partners better realize their business goals.

Resolve complex issues for card transaction processing

Intake and tracks all system failures impacting partners

Coordinates and resolves all non-compliant conditions associated with partner card processing including POS testing

Supports department-level analytics and reporting tasks.

Provides day-to-day support for acquirers network-to-network partners issuers and processors by researching complex situations and supporting participant

Manage multiple business client relationships simultaneously

Supports the team and department with reporting activities

Participates in remediation activities

Identifies analyzes and resolves issues to ensure smooth operations and risk mitigation. Includes managing issues tracking progress and communicating with stakeholders to maintain alignment.

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
