• Field Service Technician

    TEKsystems (Philadelphia, PA)


    We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT support team. This role is responsible for providing hands-on support for hardware, software, and peripheral devices in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with PC deployment, hardware troubleshooting, and user account management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Deploy, reimage, and configure desktop and laptop computers in a corporate setting

    + Perform cable management and ensure proper workstation setup and organization

    + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, including PCs, monitors, laptops, and printers

    + Conduct minor hardware repairs and component replacements as needed

    + Provide break/fix support and assist with IT deployments

    + Utilize Active Directory to add, remove, and manage user accounts

    + Respond to and resolve service desk tickets in a timely and professional manner

    + Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and asset inventory

    + Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    + 3–4 years of experience in desktop support or IT field services

    + Proficiency in Windows operating systems and desktop imaging processes

    + Experience with Active Directory user management

    + Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and peripheral devices

    + Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 35 pounds

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

    This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
